As many of you may already know, I will be temporarily closing down shop as I prepare for my own pregnancy and maternity leave. Not to worry though, I will be back up and running again starting in April 2026. I will be joining the team at East Coast Vets in Easton, MD. This practice has been extremely supportive by allowing me to see my ultrasound and puppy count x-rays over the last 1.5 years. Every member of the team is outstanding and have all been very welcoming to my breeder clients.
What does this mean for you? More availability and flexibility of appointments, more general veterinary services can be provided if needed, a full in-house pharmacy as well as online pharmacy, surgery availability, a gorgeous modern facility equipped with the latest diagnostic tools with a focus on comfort and quality care.
Thank you to all of my clients over the last 3+ years that have supported my small business offering canine reproductive services on the Eastern Shore. I look forward to working with you again in the spring!

Katie Withowski, DVM DACT
Dr. Withowski embodies a unique combination of expertise and compassion. She is the best repro vet we’ve ever worked with over our 20+ years of breeding. And, it is not even close. But, I still remember the look of joy on Dr. Withowski’s face, sitting on the exam room floor with our last litter of 8 week old Chesapeake puppies crawling all over her.

Dr. Withowski is very knowledgeable and caring; she is professional [and looks] for the best solutions and methods to accomplish the goal. She was with my silky bitch from start to finish, including birthing 5 healthy happy pups. Truly confident in her knowledge and skills.
