About Us

Small animal veterinary reproduction specialist

"I started breeding dogs as a teen with no centralized guidance or support. This was the major reason I later went for advanced training after vet school in reproduction.

Now, I can use what I’ve learned to help guide owners to make the best choices for their pets. I know how much time, effort and heart you put into your dogs and programs; preservation of that work is what it’s all about for me.”

Experience where it counts: Dr. Withowski received her DVM  from St. George’s University with her clinical training completed at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She then completed a one-year large animal field service and comparative theriogenology (reproduction) internship with the University of Georgia. In 2018, Dr. Withowski began a companion animal theriogenology residency position at North Carolina State University, jointly funded by the American Kennel Club, AKC-Canine Health Foundation and Theriogenology Foundation. This collaborative program provided training in both companion animal reproduction and clinical genetics under the mentorship of world renown experts in the field. During her residency, she served as a consultant for a companion animal genetics service, provided clinical therio services, taught veterinary students and was a speaker for seminars.

Following residency, Dr. Withowski worked as an associate veterinarian on the Eastern Shore providing canine and equine reproductive medicine, large animal ambulatory services and small animal primary care services for two years. She has spent the last year as a travel vet for both primary care and repro. She has covered care for other reproductive specialists at home and abroad including: Virginia Tech Theriogenology Service in Blacksburg, VA, Veterinary Reproduction Consultancy in NSW, Australia and Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care Theriogenology Service, Huntington, NY.

Memberships that matter: Dr. Withowski has been a member of the Society for Theriogenology since her veterinary student days. She achieved reproductive specialist status by becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenology following her residency in 2021. She is also a member of the American College of Veterinary Medicine and served as a member of a canine breeding task force for the Maryland Dept. of Agriculture. She is a member of the Talbot Kennel Club as well as the Delmarva chapter of NAVHDA.

Personal life: Dr. Withowski lives in Easton with her Slovakian wirehaired pointer, Uszka, a foundation stock service breed and a brown tabby named Montauk. She also loves to spend time with her horses, Marnie and Otto.
